Guys! Lomography Birmingham, the little shop I work for on the 2nd floor of Selfridges, are hosting a party tomorrow night from 6 till 9. There will be free alcohol, music, free alcohol, cameras, free alcohol, friendly advice, free alcohol, film and uhh did I mention free alcohol? But in all seriousness it’s going to be cool. The press and Fused magazine will be around too so you could get your friendly faces in print. If that doesn’t convince you, like if you don’t drink or something, then you should come anyway just to laugh at me swanning around like a madman whilst trying to squeeze in a beer. GOOD TIMES.

This is from my girlfriend’s Diana. It’s her friend Tor, creambumblebee. I really really like this photo, and since i’m not sure if she’s gonna post it on Tumblr, I thought i’d share it :).

Yeah, you’re seeing it right. This is me with a Lomokino! My girlfriend, moniquejacklyn got me one for Xmas (that’s a fisheye and a lomokino she has brought me, I should just marry her now right?) along with a scrapbook / photoalbum of our 4 years together which is also pretty cool :).
Along with those, she also got me Open Hand - You & Me on CD which round here is virtually impossible to find, and she also got me some Millionaire Shortbread (Y) haha. My parents got me a Steepletone vinyl record player that is capable of ripping vinyl records to 256kbps MP3 via USB or SD, and sub woofer with 2 speakers to go with it. My little brother got me Nirvana - Live at the Paramount on DVD and my parents also got me the first 3 Queen albums on CD. I think that’s more or less everything, it’s been a pretty sucessful end to 2011 in all!

In other news, i’m gonna start up a Vimeo account to upload my Lomokino videos to, but more on that later. I’ve got some Diana Mini photography to share which i’ll post later or something and i’m gonna start my Top 5 of 2011 today! Hope you all had an awesome Christmas!
