Yeah, you’re seeing it right. This is me with a Lomokino! My girlfriend, moniquejacklyn got me one for Xmas (that’s a fisheye and a lomokino she has brought me, I should just marry her now right?) along with a scrapbook / photoalbum of our 4 years together which is also pretty cool :).
Along with those, she also got me Open Hand - You & Me on CD which round here is virtually impossible to find, and she also got me some Millionaire Shortbread (Y) haha. My parents got me a Steepletone vinyl record player that is capable of ripping vinyl records to 256kbps MP3 via USB or SD, and sub woofer with 2 speakers to go with it. My little brother got me Nirvana - Live at the Paramount on DVD and my parents also got me the first 3 Queen albums on CD. I think that’s more or less everything, it’s been a pretty sucessful end to 2011 in all!

In other news, i’m gonna start up a Vimeo account to upload my Lomokino videos to, but more on that later. I’ve got some Diana Mini photography to share which i’ll post later or something and i’m gonna start my Top 5 of 2011 today! Hope you all had an awesome Christmas!

Day 29 - Purchased

This is the last one! For some odd reason the last shot didn’t show up on my negs?

Anyway, this is purchased and the latest thing i’d purchased when I took this was my Holga.

This is my new digital camera!
It’s a Nikon Coolpix S3100 and it cost me 110 euros from Calais in Paris (hey, what would you do if you had to spend 110 euros in 25 minutes in Cite Europe?)
It’s pretty mint; 14 mega pixels, 5x zoom, auto focus or manual focal point function, something like 15 ‘smart’ modes (such as “Panorama assist”, “Fireworks show”, “Museum” and “Night portrait”) and as is standard with most compacts you can choose between multiple ISO settings and EC. The only thing i’m slightly disappointed by is that you can’t select a manual shutter speed or manual aperture but hey I suppose a compact does have it’s limits! It takes a good picture and i’ll upload an example or two later. I’m not sure how i’ll utilise it, but just for it’s small size alone i’m gonna be carrying it around at parties and nights out etcetera :)).

Day 5 - Someone I Love

This is moniquejacklyn, my girlfriend of nearly 4 years. We’re into alot of the same things, mostly photography/lomography and for our 4 year anniversary we’re going to Disneyland & Paris for a few days which should be mint!

We’ve been through our fair share of drama together but we managed to survive it all and stayed together, i’d be a bit lost without her to be fair!

this is a new toy I picked up in Birmingham on Saturday with the girlfriend. After yesterdays events unfortunately I didn’t get chance to post about it.
It’s the “Accessorize Multi-Lens camera” but obviously a clone of the Lomo Action Sampler. It shoots exactly the same too, 4 lens fire off sequentially in clockwork order and it came with a roll of pre-loaded 35mm film. Obviously it’s a bit pink and girly and stuff but that doesn’t really bother me. I’m hoping to make some minimovie GIF files out of the photos when i’ve finished a roll and got them developed!
