hello.:

- being annoyed at indie record labels for not sending me my fucking CD’s. I don’t like slagging off indie labels, but taking more than a month to not-yet post me my CD’s is a joke. I’m fed up of having to email them like: “hey! wtf is goin on!” It’s gotten to the point where I use Amazon / HMV whenever possible because they are, to some extent, more reliable!!

- being a bit disenchanted (for want of a better word…) with photography at the moment, theres only so many times you can photograph a nice sunset or nice building or something, plus my artsy shots came back today and I fucked them all up :| I think the next bunch of photos I upload after my latest OM-10 shots (I’ve got some pinhole photos I need to develop and scan in and I’ve got a film in my MTL50 with all graffiti photos on and one in my fisheye but i’m only about halfway through on both) will probably be my last for a little while.

- / + feeling slightly fed up of my Orange Vegas. It was only supposed to be a stopgap til I got a better phone anyway. Was considering getting an IPhone but this morning my boss at work has shown up with a shiny new Iphone 3G so that idea is out of the window. May shop the latest Sony Erikkson cybershots, I really liked my K800i till it broke on me.

+ the new Foals track: spanish sahara. “i am the fury in yr head.” Now that my expectations of a whole album of “hummer” ‘s have been dashed, i’m looking forward to just playing this record with an open mind.

+ going to see you Youves and The James Clever Quartet on friday night, and at Taylor Johns which is one of my favourite little venues. I MIGHT finish off my MTL50 film there… Might.

- Also going to see Frank Turner on the 21st if my tickets ever show up…

+ the Ellie Goulding debut record. It’s pretty good. Pretty universal in appeal I reckon, I was going to write a little bit about it, I may still do, but yeah give it a play. I think it’s on spotify.

+ having a good weekend, including a usual night out with the girls, then a short night out with the girlfriend and the girls again, and a really nice meal at the harvester with the girlfriend on sunday.

++ no seriously, it was probably the nicest meal I have ever had. Even the bill was nice :)

- having to go back to work. haha. I skived off on Monday though. Too ill.

+ just a positive note, you know, to end on. Sorry for the negatives. I moan a little bit sometimes.
