I’m having a ‘e-fight’ with Alfie from The Holloways.
My opinion usually gets me in trouble. This week it’s with NME mediocre popstars, The Holloways. Through THEFLY magazine, check this out:

- Why is it necessary for all members off The Holloways to each have thier own separate twitter accounts to tweet about their boring lives, i’m sorry but enough of it is being rammed down our throats with your mundane “indie” music. You havn’t wrote a single decent song since Generator and I only heard that ‘coz Radio One brought shares in it or something. Jog on!

- Johnny Wilson - why are you aware of the fact that each of us has a Twitter if you don’t like us? I am not aware you have one as: a) I don’t know you b) If I did know you I would think you a fool so I wouldn’t follow you and waste my time and energy on you. So I suggest you do the same - log out of the forum, stop being so boring. People who spend all their time slaggin off other people are not even worth me typing the words that were devised to describe them.

- Alfie - for the simple fact that I took a few minutes to give you a listen and concluded that you were somewhere between Hockey and The Pidgeon Detectives but not quite on par with Bombay Bicycle Club or Your Twenties… I am amazed that you took the time to reply to me, albeit with a responce on par of a 17 year old on the Alternative Press forum, however but for the record I don’t spend ALL of my time slagging off people or bands, just bands that I think are filling the music industry with sub-par pedestrian rock music that before the invention of Myspace and Last FM would have fallen behind the wayside where it belongs. It’s nothing personal but as a massive fan of the alternative and independent music scene that i’ve been following for nigh on 10 years, I can’t say i’m very appreciative of yourselves when the spotlight could be focused on bands who are striving to set themselves apart from their contempories instead of ‘stomping old ground’ that previous bands like The Libertines, The Others and perhaps to a lesser extent The Fratellis have alreay covered! However, all the best to you, and you can follow me on twitter here: www.twitter.com/johnnyjwilson
