So, yesterday morning my faithful 1gb iPod nano that had been with me for nearly 4 years finally came to it’s time of dying.
To be fair, it was on the way out. For some reason, the scrollwheel wasn’t registering that it was being scrolled sometimes and it had a nasty habit of making itself louder or quieter at inappropriate times but the biggest fault was the fact that it decided to ‘lock’ itself when it wasn’t locked at all, and when I did unlock it still decided to behave like it was locked ¬_¬.
Also the battery wasn’t holding its charge so good anymore. A full charge and I only got about 2 hours playback out of it.

So, technologically speaking, it was knackered.

Then, yesterday morning, after an all-night-most-of-the-morning house party, It must have dropped out of my bag, and I stumbled off the sofa at 11 in the morning and trod on it.
So I killed it. The screen is all broken and stuff and now it won’t switch on.

I’m a bit gutted. It went through College with me, went on holiday with me twice, went to Basingstoke with me that day me and my girlfriend traveled down to take photos, it went to work with me, and everything.

So yeah, here’s to my faithful iPod. And here’s to buying a brand new 8gb one complete with camera, genius and fm radio :))) haha.
