So I just stumbled across something after checking through the blogs I follow, which was blogged by Kapi and its something called Dropbox.
Also the very recent news of a merger between Orange & T-Mobile re-perked my interest, a fair few years ago I was shown something called ePIC which is best left to Wikipeida to describe, but its basically a flash move. Just click the link.
This pretty much summed up, for me, the whole hypothesis of the evolution of information and how, by about 2014 all electronic news websites, blog entries and user submitted information will be centralized in one easy to access, totallian network.
It was a fascinating idea 5 years ago, and the more and more I stumble accross the more I can see it becoming an achieveable reality, however probably not as is portrayed in the flash film, even one of the creators, Robin Sloan finds it hard to believe that Google and Amazon could agree to some sort of merger or J.V. but its certainly an interesting concept that in 5 to 10 years time our entire consumer experience could be transformed into one that is accessed, policed, monitored and concluded entirely through the flow of digital information.
