Few thoughts on the following things:
- T Mobile + Orange = Interesting. The companies intend to operate separately at least for the first 18 months, so except some cross network incentives like “Free calls to T-Mobile customers” or something. I’m an Orange fanboy and consequently an Orange customer, so i’m slighty intrigued to see what happens over the next 12 months.
- Terry Wogan > Chris Evans
- Chris Evans is an irritating pest. Kind of like a really young and energetic fly that keeps buzzing in your earhole and and despite numerous attempts to swat the little urchin he simply WILL NOT just give up and disappear.
- John McEnroe is a legend purely for the fact that he is name dropped in a House Of Pain song.
- Spotify mobile for the IPhone and Android phones is the best thing to happen to the music industry since the invention of ITunes. I don’t have either but from what I’ve read and watched about it. It looks pretty hot. Makes me wish I had an IPhone :(
- Frank Turner - Poetry for the Deed is arguably the most interesting record i’ve heard all year, second only to the Bombay Bicycle Club debut. It really showcases Frank at his strongest and the sound of his full band having some input into the creative process really makes a difference on the record. if you havn’t listened to it yet, check it out.
