Client: I did this document in MS Word. I need you to scan the document, convert it to a PDF, and then email it back to me.

He then handed me an 18-page document.

My old boss once printed out an attachment in an email that was in PDF format, and asked me to manually scan it in using a flatbed scanner, convert it to PDF and send it to him in an email. I just did it.
