Looking back at 2011. 2011 was the year I became a photographer with the Red Cross, and in the space of one year I have been a part of many memorable events, most recently working the New York City Marathon. The volunteers with the Red Cross are all-around fantastic people…humble, honest and intensely caring, they make you feel very proud to be a New Yorker. This past September was the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and I was invited to document the memorial ceremony on that day. It was a very moving experience and truly an honor to be a part of it.
This is amazing. I’d love to be a part of something like this!
