I don’t understand why or how metronomy are so popular
they’re fucking atrociously bad.
That’s a bit harsh! I don’t get the hype either, but bad is a bit strong, Nights Out by them is a cracking album, I think all the other stuff is a bit… Bland.
I really struggled with them between Nights Out and English Riviera, When Gabe left the band I thought they had lost it, but they won me back with The Bay and the rest of English Riviera. Joseph Mount is obviously a musical genius.
