I watched this last night, and ater a quick IMDB and image search, it suddenly occured to me that the version I watched was somewhat edited to be less gruesome… Meh :|. I suppose I didn’t take that into account when buying it from a Poundshop, so I may skip over to the Internet Archive and see if I can find an unedited version, or a directors cut or something.

Anyway, it’s pretty satirical, and I liked it. I thought it was quite impressive, unfortunately I don’t think my parents or my little brother we’re equally as impressed. I liked how their wasn’t really any ‘good guys’. Even Jan, the helpless head that is kept alive isn’t portrayed as a victim, more over she’s portrayed as the protagonist. The acting is a bit hit and miss in places, but hey it was a 1959/62 film so I can give it the benefit of the doubt.
