I’ve got a little story for you Tumblr.
Yesterday, my mum went to a funeral, it was the son of one of her friends. He was 26 years old (I think…). During his conception there were complications and as a result he was born with brain damage and cerebral palsy, the reason i’m telling you this is because of his disabilities his parents had a real hard time finding shoes that we’re comfortable enough for him to wear and easy enough for them to put on him without breaking his ankles; so they used to buy him Converse like the ones pictured cos of how comfortable they were and because the hi-tops provided more support for his ankle and foot.
So on the day of his funeral, all of the immediate family, close family friends and funeral procession all wore a pair of Converse at the ceremony to show their love and support, and during the ceremony the vicar pulled his trouser legs up to show off his all black leather Converse. I thought that was a real quirky and touching thing to do as a way to mark the occasion. :)
