So this was pretty good and here’s why I think why:
- Jesse Eisenberg is really good as the awkward, geeky and arrogant teenager. If you saw this and Zombieland you wouldn’t think it’s the same guy, he is a real good actor.
- Justin Timberlake is amazing as Sean Parker, he acts exactly how I expected Sean Parker to act after reading the book. I always expected Sean Parker to be a bit… fatter though? But I’m seriously looking for criticisms here.
- It’s amusing, satirically amusing and clever at the same time, whilst it doesn’t stick 100% to the book, it still gets the story accross without drastically editing or re-writing an entire fucking plot development, like what they did with Da-Vinci code and Jurrasic Park ¬_¬. I hate it when films do that.
- It’s entertaining. The film is 2 hours long but for me, it didn’t feel like it dragged once, not at any part. Maybe that’s cos I knew what was going to happen, but even so it didn’t feel like they stuttered at any point.
- The Executive Procuder is Kevin Spacey and the music score is composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. This is bonus points just in of itself.
